Frances Thorton MA, PGCE, GMus, DipABRSM
Frances has been playing the flute and piano for over 25 years and during this time her enthusiasm has never ceased. Frances studied with world renowned musicians at Music College including the flautist Keith Bragg and the composer Allan Bullard, and since leaving she has had an exciting and varied career. She graduated as a performer, Secondary school music teacher and a private instrumental teacher and has taught in a variety of schools and colleges.
Frances regularly plays with a number of ensembles and orchestras in and around the Buckinghamshire area. She divides her time between teaching and performing and also directs a flute ensemble called Flauto and a recorder consort called Sopranino. As well as performing in the Engima Duo, she also plays in the chamber music group Trio di Flauto, who recently performed at Claydon House, Buckinghamshire.Frances has written a series of musical stories called The Adventures of Sammy the Super Flute, published by Flutewise.
She is a member of the incorporated society of musicians and has completed the NSPCC child protection awareness in music course.

Kirsty Morris Selley BA (Hons)
Kirsty has been singing and playing the piano for over 27 years. She has performed from a young age, including performing at the Royal Albert Hall alongside the National Youth Choir. Kirsty is passionate about music and bringing the joy of singing to as many people as she can.
Kirsty is a private instrumental teacher of singing and piano within Milton Keynes, and teaches in an exclusive private school. Kirsty is also the Musical Director of MK Gospel, and works with the MK Music Service. She owns her own music company, Keylicious Music.
Kirsty regularly performs both with the Enigma Duo and as a solo artist at weddings and corporate functions. She also has her own band and will be releasing an album in 2011.
